We manage the Alt Fund SIF-SICAV, a specialized investment fund based in Luxembourg. In the Alt Fund, we run two distinct strategies that share a set of core values. We act as long-term investors who focus on generating attractive absolute returns while avoiding undue risk. Alt Investments is based in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

opportunities
Alt Opportunities Fund is our long only equity fund. It follows a concentrated, bottom-up stock picking strategy with heavy emphasis on valuation, business quality and balance sheet robustness. The Opportunities Fund invests primarily in companies ran by founders or management teams that have significant skin in the game.
allocator
Alt Allocator is our fund of funds. Allocator invests in a portfolio of high-quality third-party managed funds. Most of the asset managers we select, run a concentrated equity portfolio. They all have a track record of significant long-term outperformance and possess knowledge and skills that are hard to replicate.
Team
A small team of experienced investment professionals
We are investors, not speculators and act accordingly. We strongly favor simplicity and do not engage in financial engineering. We eat our own cooking and have a significant percentage of our own net wealth invested in our funds.
Our three directors cover a wide array of financial disciplines. Each of the core tasks at Alt Investments B.V. is directly supervised by at least one of our directors.
Together, the Alt Investments team has more than 50 years of experience in financial markets on the buy and sell side both in private as well as public markets.

Career
From 2013 to 2016 active as a consultant to a large, Benelux based Family Office. Previously, Vice-President at Morgan Stanley London in the Institutional Equity Division. Started his career in the banking industry, working in the derivatives teams of Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan Securities in London (2004-2012).
Education
Holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Finance from Ghent University, Stockholm School of Economics and Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
Frank Ceenaeme

Career
From 2016 to 2017 active as a consultant to a large, Benelux based Family Office. Previously, Director at KBC Securities in the Corporate Finance Division, where he worked and advised on a wide range of assignments, including sell-side and buy-side M&A and equity capital market transactions. Started his career at NIBC Bank in M&A (2008-2013) and Debt Capital Markets (2007-2008).
Education
Holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School and a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences from Ghent University. In addition, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Rachel Lamock

Risk & Compliance Officer Alt Investments
Career
From 2013 to 2021, CFO of the AZ Jan Palfijn hospital in Ghent. Previously, worked at Belfius (formerly Dexia) in various roles in middle-office risk management, including as head of reporting and risk management in treasury, pension fund risk manager and ALM risk manager (1999-2013). Started her career at Arthur Andersen in audit.
She is currently also active as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Amonis OFP.
Education
Holds a Master’s degree Business Economics from the Solvay Business School.
